Where two dates are indicated, the best weather day will be selected by the co-ordinator a few days ahead and communicated by email.
The final walk on the day will depend on weather, road conditions and preferences of the members attending.

Hilton to Milton - New Year walk on Saturday 5th or Sunday 6th January depending on forecast.  Alex will email on Thursday 3rd January with the date.  Leave Milngavie Carpark at 8:30 or meet at Queens View Carpark at 9:00.  4 hour 13k walk by Whangie, Burncrooks reservoir, Duncolm, Doughnot Hill and the Lang Crags before soup, sandwiches, maybe fresh scallops and crab, and plenty to drink at Alex's House.  All members will be driven back home by a sober Alex and Susan afterwards. 64

Ben Ledi - a Corbett just north of Callander. In summer a straight forward walk but Ice Axe and Crampons are recommended in January.

Ochils - Milngavie at 8am or at 9am at the bottom Mill Glen in Tillicoultry.  From there follow the Glen for 1/2 mile to then take the path leading to The Law.  Follow the hillside round onto Ben Cleuch.  From there we will head east and onto Andrew Gannel Hill and drop onto the Maddy Moss..  If time allows we can then turn SE to gain King's Seat hill before dropping back onto the Mill Glen Path. 6 hr.

Beinn an Lochain (Arrochar) - a prominent Corbett at the head of Glen Croe which at one time was listed as a Munro.
The best ascent route starts near Butterbridge, following the North East ridge, which is steep and narrow in places, giving a fine hill walk. Options for the descent. Approximately 5.5km and 720m ascent.
In full winter conditions, ice axe and crampons required.
